Trutec Oy delivered the arena’s 450-ton steel frame
Trutec Oy continues to deliver large steel frames reliably and efficiently even to demanding sites. The Nokia ball arena (AGCO Power Arena) will be completed in late summer 2024, the steel frame of which was supplied and installed by Trutec Oy.
Trutec Oy acted as a steel frame supplier as a subcontractor for Aki Hyrkkönen Oy. The steel frame delivery included the steel frame with its engineering design, manufactured, delivered and installed, as well as the installation of hollow core slabs.
The league-level arena is suitable for large sporting and public events.
The three-story arena contains two separate halls, which can be divided into several sections with dividing curtains. In everyday use, the main hall can be divided into three separate sections, all the size of a full-size basketball court. The second hall is a training hall, which can be divided into two parts. In addition to school physical education, the hall serves as a floorball training hall.
The ball arena serves as the home arena for BC Nokia Näätie, Nokian KrP, BC Nokia women and FC Nokia. All clubs play in their respective sports at the main league level and the arena will host top-class basketball, floorball and futsal matches, among others. There is enough seating for approximately 1,900 spectators.
