Trutec Oy implemented the copper facades of the market pavilion
The market pavilion at Seinäjoki Central Market has an impressive copper cladding, made with copper shingles and copper grilles.
The building, designed by Oopeaa Architects, combines sustainable materials and refined details.
The building’s exterior walls consist of shingles made of pre-patinated copper.
Shingles surround the corners of the building and partly also the eaves. Copper cladding, made with hook-and-loop fasteners, was installed on the visible roof surfaces as a sheet metal work. The air conditioning ducts were covered with louvers made of copper.
Trutec Oy also implemented and installed the entire project, including all materials.
The copper facades combined with the building’s wooden cladding form a whole that we can enjoy for decades to come.
