Steel-Framed Production Hall Completed Quickly and Efficiently
Trutec Oy has constructed a steel-framed production hall of over 3,000 m², along with office facilities, for RTA-Metalli Oy in Saarijärvi. RTA-Metalli Oy serves its clients as a reliable subcontractor for the metal industry and welding machine shop production. The construction of the new production facilities, including machinery, represents the largest investment in the company’s history, with a total value of approximately EUR 8 million.
The steel-framed production hall features four overhead cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 20 tons, enabling the safe handling of long and heavy components. The hall includes dedicated welding stations and extensive assembly areas.
Trutec Oy Managed the Project from Design to Installation
Trutec Oy was involved from the very beginning of the project, starting with the planning phase. The company assembled a cost-effective design team and, in collaboration with the client, completed the entire project within the allocated budget and schedule.
“The appearance of the hall has drawn a lot of admiration from passersby. The facilities are highly functional, and we received a hall perfectly suited to our needs. Our requests were well taken into account both during the design phase and throughout construction,” says Hanna Auvinen, CEO of RTA-Metalli Oy.
The project was completed on a fast schedule: installation work began in mid-October, and floor work started at the beginning of December. An early onset of winter brought some challenges, which were successfully managed. The project was handed over on May 1, 2024, and production commenced before the summer under the client’s management.
Auvinen expressed satisfaction with the collaboration: “The hall was erected very quickly, and there were no delays. We are extremely happy with our new facilities.”

Trutec Oy wishes RTA-Metalli Oy every success in their new facilities!
