Trutec contracted two halls for Korimekaanikot Pirkanmaa Oy.
Korimekaanikot Pirkanmaa Oy is a collision repair shop operating in Pirkanmaa, which offers a wide range of services in the event of vehicle damage.
The body mechanics’ collision repair shop operations are concentrated in halls built for Nokia by Trutec Oy, which were completed in 2017 and 2020 in the Kolmenkulma area. The halls have an area of 1100m2 and 1000m2. The company’s damage inspection and customer service points are located in the Lielahti and Hatanpää offices.
The new halls enabled the centralization and efficiency of the Body Mechanics operations at Nokia.
The impressive halls were designed in collaboration with the client, Korimekaanikkito’s founder Jani Mattila. Mattila had a clear vision of the buildings’ functionality, spatial layout and facade. Together with Trutec’s project manager Juhani Luhtala, the wishes and goals were designed into sustainable entities that could be implemented cost-effectively.
The hall packages were built on a fairly efficient schedule.
The hall package units were completed in three months, from casting the bases to finishing. Trutec’s strength as a steel construction company is particularly the speed and efficiency of construction projects. Expert project managers adapt the customer’s wishes to the procurement of the forks and schedule the entire project efficiently.
Jani Mattila, a body mechanic, talks about the completed construction projects as follows:
“The collaboration with Trutec traditionally started on the basis of tender negotiations. The first construction project went well and we were satisfied with the collaboration with Trutec Oy. When planning the new hall, it was clear that the second hall would also be built with Trutec Oy. There are always surprises and things to negotiate in a construction project. With Trutec, everything worked great from start to finish, things were handled promptly and professionally until completion. The new premises are really functional and we are satisfied with the whole thing.”
Trutec Oy delivered a business hall of approximately 1100m2 to Korimekaanikot Pirkanmaa in 2017 (large image at the top of the page).
The second hall, approximately 1000m2 in size, was completed in 2020 (pictures below).
