Trutec Oy delivered a 1,200 m² maintenance and washing hall for Nobina Oy.
Nobina Oy is a Finnish transport company providing local bus services in the Helsinki region, Turku region, and, since last summer, also in the Oulu region. The Nobina Group is the leading public transport company in the Nordics, with 13,000 employees serving around one million passengers daily. Nobina is a significant innovator in the industry, working closely with transport authorities. In the Oulu region, Nobina began operations earlier this summer with 40 new fully electric buses and over 120 new employees.
Nobina Oy acted as the client for the project, with Trutec Oy serving as a subcontractor. The main contractor was Sweco PM Oy, and Sweco Oy was responsible for structural design.
Trutec Stood Out with Its Cost-Effective Hall Package Solution
The hall package delivered by Trutec Oy serves as a bus maintenance and washing depot. The modern logistics hall also includes office and social facilities for Nobina employees. The total area of the hall complex is 1,200 m².

The exterior cladding incorporates various metal strips and sheetings in compliance with local zoning requirements.
Trutec Oy’s contract began during Independence Week in 2023, and the steel frame was erected by Christmas. Trutec’s delivery was completed in March 2024, and the facilities were put into use in May.
The Trutec project team was led by Asta Pihlajamäki (construction), with contract matters handled by Tuomas Anttila and design responsibilities managed by Jarkko Mannersuo.
