Parking garage facade made of highly weather-resistant marine aluminum
The concrete-framed parking garage received an impressive facade made of highly weather-resistant marine aluminum.
Trutec Oy delivered the facade as a product component, the content of which included
- detailed design
- steel structures
- aluminum cassettes installed with materials.
In steel structural design, Trutec Oy dimensioned the parking garage crash barrier as part of the facade’s steel frame.
The frames were implemented as 10m high elements and their installation was quick. In the detailed design, Trutec Oy supplemented the 3D information model, making the whole thing verifiable by all parties. The cooperation from the design table to the finished result was very smooth and determined.
Construction manager Sakari Syrjä gave Trutec Oy a commendable rating of full points for the facade contract. Communication worked throughout the project and despite the changed schedules, Trutec Oy was able to complete its work as agreed. Observations made on the site were responded to immediately and the whole thing was under control.
Jani Haataja, Construction Power Manager: Trutec Oy was closely involved in the implementation planning of the facade and communication with the architect was active and smooth. This made my role as project manager easier in the design supervision. We look forward to collaborating on future projects.
Jussi Karjalainen, the project’s chief designer and architect at Veli Karjalainen Oy Architectural Office: The collaboration was perfect and the plans were completed thanks to the professionalism of all parties involved. This is how these projects should always go.
