The Datacloud Global Congress, held in Cannes, France, has established itself as the world’s leading event for data center, cloud and digital infrastructure professionals. For over two decades, the congress has been bringing together top international industry leaders, investors, technology exporters, and innovative builders and designers.
The event is known as a global meeting place where strategic partnerships, financing models and the future direction of the entire industry are established.
Trutec Oy is participating in the event
Trutec Oy attended the event with the aim of meeting both its current data center customers and new partners. In addition to meeting customers, the visit provided a great opportunity to smell the global winds of the industry and ensure that Trutec’s building solutions meet the latest requirements in the data center world.
“It was great to see how much interest there is in Finland and other Nordic countries,” says Tuomas Anttila, Sales Director at Trutec Oy.

Artificial intelligence and the green transition are making the industry talk
The data center industry is currently experiencing unprecedented transformation and growth. Two closely related themes emerged as the main themes of this year’s congress:
Responsibility and “License to Operate”: As data center energy consumption is predicted to increase significantly, energy efficiency, carbon neutrality, renewable energy utilization, and tightening EU regulations have become the most pressing issues in the industry. Data centers must be able to demonstrate their sustainability to both the environment and local communities.
The explosive growth of artificial intelligence (AI): Generative AI and high-performance computing (HPC) demand significantly higher density, efficiency, and scalability from data centers, placing entirely new demands on structural design, power supply, and cooling solutions.
